Just call me Paul

So I'm out to work on #4. First step is to chop down that tree.. its 15' tall and begining to flower so I better kill it while I can. I sort of feel bad killing a perfectly good tree, but I have to move my shed because the roof is sloped towards the house and the runoff is ending up in my basement.

On a lighter note I watched Aeon Flux this week. I was never a fan of the cartoon (although im re-evaluating that) but the movie was not too shabby. Lately I find I can enjoy almost any movie out there... sort of weird.

It also looks like im going to go ahead with the Laser Surgery. The consultation went well and although they try and up sell you to the "Best", and most expensive surgery, I refused to submit to their fear mongering. Let the countdown to May 25th begin.

I also had new windows installed in the bedrooms. I didnt put it on my 101 list because I felt like I would be cheating myself because I had already arranged to have them installed before I created my list. Anyway im quite pleased with the results, they look really good and the sound barrier they create will be wonderfull for those weekend parties on the back deck that would be sure to wake up the kids. In the next few weeks they should be back to install the patio door.

Oh and I also went to a Jack and Jill party on Friday, I dressed up like a ballerina.. i'll post pictures soon.. maybe.

Whoop!

#61

So I managed to knock one off my list. Got the dryer guy in here yesterday and he fixed the dryer. Cost me another $85 though.. so for a 3 year old dryer the thing has already cost me $225. Im starting to think Whirlpool sucks. If it breaks down again its gonna find itself on the curb.

Here today, gone tomorrow

Ok, So thursday I went on a tour of the Toronto Film School. It was pretty nice inside, full size studio sets, top of the line computer systems and software, and lifetime access to the school.

The problem is its a 15 month program full time, no part time or night school available and tuition is $25,000. So basically I've counted them out for now. Im thinking I might take a script writing course and maybe a camera course and try and wing it on the weekends... I mean who needs a degree anyhoo.

Monday is gonna be a busy day. Brand new windows getting installed in the house, 3 master bedroom windows and 2 of the kids bedrooms plus a new sliding patio door. I also have an appointment for a consultation on Laser eye surgery. I have to say as well that my list of 101 in 1001 days is coming along nicely. Im up to around 50 items and moving.

Oh and I just found out my good friend Steve and his wife Amber have given birth to a baby boy weighing 7lbs 12 ounces and named him Elijah (sp?). Congrats Dude!

Go Flames Go!

Day Two

Well.. 2nd day now. How do I use this thing again? So tomorrow I'm off to the Toronto Film School for a tour and an information session. Im not counting on anything of course, I think it will just feel good to get some questions answered.

Oh yeah.. I've been looking into the laser eye surgery thingy too. This is the place I have a consultation with next monday.

By the way I dont want your crappy lamp Scott. LOL

First Post

Well I guess this is my first post... hmm.. pretty vacant around here.. guess I'll have to fill it up with useless crap. First let me say "Hey" to Allison, Scott, Kevin, Sara, Amanda, Steve, Steve, Amber, and Haven who gave me the idea to start my own Blog. I would also like to mention that right now im listening to the new Tool single "Vicarious" which will be released on the new album entitled 10,000 days.

I also recently watched Hostel, I would have to say that the movie was quite good but not as gory as it was made out to seem.

Cheers for now!
